We are currently seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our new Elkton Maryland location! Description:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is the first point of contact in providing 1:
1 interventions to children with autism to help increase their academic, social and communication skills; implement programs based on all principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
The BCBA works collaboratively to provide initial and/or continuing client (re)assessments including ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, Vineland and AFLS.
The BCBA will also hold the responsibility of conducting functional behavior assessments, creating programs and behavior intervention plans, providing ongoing supervision for ABA programming, continuously assess the performance of programs, and adjust as necessary, participate in parent training for parents and other caregivers, possess the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with parents and other caregivers while respecting cultural diversity with the capability of adapting ABA procedures for diverse populations.
The BCBA will also be responsible for providing monthly supervision to RBT's on the team and conducting quarterly team evaluations.
Position Requirements:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
Hold an active BCBA certification through the BACB Hold an active state license (LBA) as required to practice in the state of Maryland or be willing to obtain licensure prior to employment Ability to communicate effectively while working with others on part of a diverse treatment team.
Must have the ability to bend, lift, run, stoop, kneel and be able to quickly transition from a seated floor position to standing position.
Must have ability to deal with moderate challenging behaviors Bilingual skills are a plus!
