Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the operations team - Oversee and manage all aspects of operations, including production, logistics, and supply chain - Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of projects - Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to drive operational excellence - Lead business development efforts to expand the company's customer base and increase revenue - Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost savings - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and make data-driven decisions - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards Duties:
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery in a food processing environment - Follow standard operating procedures to ensure product quality and safety - Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary - Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines - Assist with packaging and labeling of finished products - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a related field is preferred - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities - Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot machinery - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices - Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Strong business acumen with a focus on driving growth and profitability - Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships - Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
